A collaborative project between sketch artist Jill Deering and printmaker Gillian Henderson
Jill Deering is a sketch artist and musician based in Dublin. Jill graduated from NCAD in 2007 and then went onto studied Music in STC and graduated with a diploma in Sound engineering in 2009. Since graduating Jill has established herself as a very talented illustrator and sketch artist. Jills ability to create likenesses of the subjects she sketches using tools such as pencil can be seen at the first glance when viewing any of her work.
Gillian Henderson is a print maker and picture framer also based in Dublin.
Gillian graduated from University of Ulster in 2010 with a Honours degree in 3D design. At present Gillian works in Hang Tough Framing in Dublin, the framing choice for contemporary art and prints.
Gillian has been screen printing since 2012, her work is designed and hand printed, in-house, at her Dublin-based studio.
Jill’s solo show in October 2015 gave the pair an excuse to work together and since then this collaboration has slowly developed into Jill & Gill, a small Dublin based sketch, and screen printing project.
With prints already available in stockists based in Dublin, we have launched our online shop to take things further afield with more print designs lined up for product runs and even more limited edition prints.
Jill & Gill can bring a lot of colour and joy into your home with their prints of characters like Bosco and Trolls! Follow their Instagram to keep up with their latest products available and some snaps of their studio and ideas on framing and hanging their gorgeous work.
Jill and Gill have recently released a limited edition print in collaboration with Repeal Project. The print was launched this weekend at Peachy Dublin. This stunning piece is in high demand so be sure to grab one quick!
