Up this week is Cork based, Freelance Illustrator and Printmaker Eva Byrne. Follow her here @evabyrneprints
Eva Byrne is an award winning graduate of the Limerick School of Art and Design, where she received a BA Honours degree in Printmaking in 2014. She is currently living in Cork City where she is a full time member at Cork Printmakers.
Her work is inspired by literature, people, conversations, music and fashion. Eva works in a variety of mediums including drawing, silkscreen, digital print, photography and mix media.
Eva exhibited in China last year at Tweetbox- Collaborative Practice in Print Impact 9 China Academy of Art. She has also exhibited a lot in Ireland since graduating from LSAD. Eva was awarded the Eli Lilly Purchase Prize at the Cork Printmakers Annual Members Show in 2015.
