Romana Testasecca plays Personality Bingo with Tom Moran

Romana Testasecca is an actress and a director based in Dublin originally from Italy. Romana moved to Ireland to study Acting at The DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama where she graduated from with a 1st Class Honours degree in Acting.

Since then, she has created a one woman show called Syrius alongside her collaborator, Karen Killeen as part of Rosebuds Theatre Company. Syrius is a devised movement piece that documents the journey of a young Syrian refugee named Rasha in her search for asylum on safer shores as she leaves her former life behind in search of safety, peace and hope.

This year, Rosebuds toured Syrius to The Rome Fringe Festival and have plans to continuing touring the show further afield next year.

As a director, she has made plays such as Low In The Dark by former guest of the show, Marina Carr and also directed Tom Moran’s one man show The Belly Button Girl.

Here’s how the show works:

60 Balls. 60 Minutes. 60 Questions. In those 60 minutes, Tom rolls his 13 euro Argos bought Bingo ball machine and asks his guest the corresponding question to that number ball. At the beginning of the show, the guest receives 6 numbers and if their 6 balls are drawn, they get to pick any question to ask Tom and he has to give a totally honest answer.
