Young Blood: Celebrate Halloween with Guts

Guts MagazineThis Halloween, Guts have teamed up with the annual Bram Stoker festival to deliver an event celebrating all things blood. Young Blood promises to be a ‘bespoke festival edition of Guts that tells people’s common experiences of blood – from menstruation and surgery, to vampire fetishes and cadavers.’

Guts is a magazine which borrows the ‘tell all aspect of blogging culture’ and adapts it for print. Guts magazine is interested in personal experiences, good storytelling and writing, complemented by accessible design and illustration. This Halloween will see the launch of a new blood themed issue.

Head down to Fumbally Stables on the night for music from concept band Spudgun, as well as readings from contributors Seamas O’Reilly, Louise Bruton, Sarah Griffin, Tim MacGabhan, Jeanne Sutton, Ellen Tannam and Simon Ashe Browne.

Guts MagazineWith a suitably blood themed dress code, free drinks and magazines we here at HS are at a loss at to what more you could possibly want. Did we mention it’s a BYO event?
