Cork World Book Festival

Cork World Book Festival’s vision is that it combines readings by world class writers in a variety of settings.  It’s now 13 years since the first Cork World Book Fest.  When they put ‘World’ in the title in 2005, it was an aspiration.  Now Cork is a vibrant intercultural city, and the Intercultural City is one of the key strands of this year’s Fest.  The 2018 Fest, which runs from 23rd to 28th April, is the 14th edition of a festival which continues to grow in range and breadth, and which gets more interesting by the year.  See here for a full listing of events.
