24 | Animal Crossing with Eva Short

Trinity News Deputy Editor and Choice Music Prize judge Eva Short joins Alan & Sarah to talk about Nintendo’s  Animal Crossing. Did Animal Crossing prepare a generation for a lifetime of debt while working a series of menial jobs with friends who come and go without ever forging a real connection? Eva Short says yes. She also tells us all about being a pre-teen in a picture-perfect Californian town, using games to explore depression and poverty, and generally makes us want to play farming simulators forever and ever.
