Once a month we hold a night of ‘Lectures’ by wonderful speakers talking passionately about different topics. They could be about frog memes or democratic revolutions. They could also be about Erwin Schrodinger or Paris Hilton. Or anything in between…
HeadStuff Lectures are not mass, not school and definitely not Ted Talks. This will be an evening of short presentations on anything from popular culture to global catastrophes.
It is hosted by comedian Gearoid Farrelly and features six fascinating Lectures.

In 2015 between the Marriage Referendum results and the American Supreme Court Ruling a video of a romantic proposal was shared on the Huffington Post website. It was one of those videos that can melt your heart before you’ve even got out of bed. But aside from the romance of the whole thing one of the guys was very familiar; Craig Robert Young a member of the fleeting 90s pop group, Deuce.
In an episode that accidentally ended up in the archives Gearoid chats to Craig about his time as a pop singer which was considerably less glamorous then it looked and his transition to a successful career on US television in shows like; NCIS, Hawaii 5-0, Sabrina the Teenaged Witch, Charmed and The Last Ship.
A very interesting chat with a lovely guy about his fascinating journey.
