Fair Game #22 | Fair Game Meets… Noelle Healy

On this episode we’re joined by an Irish sportswoman who’s had a season to remember in her county colours, as Dublin banished the demons of the last three years of All Ireland football final heartbreak to claim the Brendan Martin trophy for only the second time in the county’s history; Fair Game meets NOELLE HEALY.

As well as claiming her second All Ireland medal with The Dubs, on a personal level, Noelle put in a Player of the Match performance in the final, was awarded her third All Star and the accolade of Player’s Player of the Year, and has just been announced as a nominee for RTÉ’s Sportsperson of the Year.

So, safe to say that 2017 has been a special one for the flyin’ forward – she takes to the Fair Game hot-seat to tell us all about finding the fire to go again; the delicate sport/life balance of elite training and competition; letting cameras into the camp; the physical and mental battle that is an All Ireland final; and turning the screw to ensure that the dog days are well n’ truly over for Dublin…
