Tittererer’s Digest #42 (feat. Amber Rose)

So, after several weeks of very slim pickings there’s loads of stuff this week to digest. Seriously, I have SEVEN things this week. SEVEN. This is a week that will go down in history. The week that we all allegedly found out that David Cameron did sex stuff with a pig mouth and there were seven things in Tittererer’s Digest. There are no more jokes to be made about the necrobestiality unfortunately. All of the jokes are gone. All future alleged pig manipulators are going to get off lightly because we’ve used all the jokes already. And that’s all I’m going to say about THAT. Let’s Digest.

1. Amber Rose – Walk Of No Shame

This is just a fun video about unapologetically living your best life. Plus, as fans of How To Get Away With Murder will know, it’s always enjoyable to see Bennett from Orange Is The New Black get shut down by a powerful woman.

2. Rekha Shankar – Prankin’ My Roommate

[youtube id=”yfOBGhNw_qY” align=”center” autoplay=”no” maxwidth=”550″]

This is Rekha Shankar’s second time in the digest. Last time she was cooking inaudibly. This time she’s prankin’ loudly. Rekha Shankar has mad range yo. I said Yo just there because Rekha Shankar lives in America and I was trying to be cool like an American.

3. Kelly Stout – Don’t Swat At The Bee

I got stung by a wasp once. I was at a theme park (note to future biographers: it was Oakwood) and put my hand down on a fence but what I didn’t know was that there was a wasp on the fence too. It stung me. I was twenty minutes into a twenty-five minute queue for a rollercoaster so I continued queuing and rode that rollercoaster. It was one of those ones where you can buy a picture of yourself on the descent. I bought the picture to commemorate my first ever wasp sting. This story by Kelly Stout is about not getting stung by a bee but it takes you on an emotional rollercoaster so my story is totally relevant. Read it here.

4. YouTube Family

Next up we have a terrifying vision of the future from UCB with jokes to soften the blow.

5. It Happened One Moonlight

And now we have a slice of classic noir written by Michael John Byrne, directed & edited by Diarmuid & Donnacha O’Brien, and starring Catherine Keogh as Lauren and Michael John Byrne as Bixby.

6. What Comedy Pays

It’s weird, the start of this Splitsider article is all like “you won’t make much money from comedy” and then it lists life-changing amounts of money for what are essentially entry-level jobs. Have a read here and seriously consider packing it all in and moving to LA and hanging around UCB until they let you onto Comedy Bang Bang.

7. Manifesto

Here’s another short sketch that gets in, tells its joke, and ends in 90 seconds. “More of this sort of thing” demand the beleaguered writers of weekly comedy round-ups.

And that’s it. That’s a lot of things to be getting on with right? I’ve done good right? Tell me I’m good.

Here’s a bonus video of a funfair organ. Goodbye.
