Howdy Tittererers, are you sad because nobody proposed to you at an Ed Sheeran gig over the weekend? Maybe you didn’t even go to the Ed Sheeran gigs? Your one true love could have been waiting there wearing their Ballinscraggle Loves Ed 2015 T-shirt, engagement ring at the ready and you were off doing something else. Well, you’ll never know now. You’ve missed your chance. If you’re reading this though, it’s far more likely that your one true love was at the Vodafone Comedy Festival saying “Mulaney” over and over again with a faraway look in their eyes. Yes, John Mulaney was amazing but do you know what else was amazing? Sure, c’mere and I’ll tell you; The Mess Around. Yes, it was being presented by HeadStuff so I’m slightly biased but Giles Brody, Colin Chadwick and their gang of messers put on a hilarious, weird, shaggy 90 minutes of sketches and songs. I don’t live in Dublin but if I did I would definitely go to The Mess Around in Anseo every month and I can categorically state that nobody paid me to say that. Anyway, let’s do a digest.

Do you remember Videogum? For a while, it was the internet’s premier source of Lost recaps, trampoline accident videos, and Topher Grace news. For most of that time, Gabe Delahaye (@gabedelahaye) was its glorious co-leader or leader depending on staffing levels. Now that Videogum has shut down Gabe has reinvented himself as a cool skater.
