HeadStuff Presents The Mess Around with David O’Doherty at the Vodafone Comedy Festival

This is pretty exciting. We’re presenting a show that we love. It’s called ‘The Mess Around’, and it’s the antics of HeadStuff legend Giles Brody, Colin Chadwick and their friends. They are putting on a one-off special show with special guests like David O’Doherty and maybe even more hidden treats, we’ll have to wait and see.

Tickets aren’t available to buy. If you want to see the show you have to enter this draw on Twitter. And if you enter the draw you have to make sure you’re definitely able to go to the show at the Vodafone Comedy Festival in the Iveagh Gardens, this Thursday 23rd of July at 7.30pm, just incase you win, if you can’t go, it’s only sound to let someone who can go win.

The Mess Around with Giles Brody & Colin Chadwick is breaking free from Anseo for its monthly night of mirth and madness. Featuring special guest David O’Doherty as well as regular messers Eleanor Tiernan, Alison Spittle,Conor O’Toole, Simon Mulholland along with lots of surprises.The show is presented in association with the fabulous folks at the culture website HeadStuff.

Alan Bennett was a stand-up comedian for a while and during that time he toured with David O'Doherty and Maeve Higgins and did well in some competitions and co-ran Schnitzel Comedy Club. Then he started writing fiction and it has been published in several literary magazines and anthologies including 30 Under 30 which Joseph O'Connor chose as one of his books of the year for The Irish Times. He received a Masters with first class honours in creative writing from UCD and a BA in fine art painting from LSAD. Now he's working on getting his novel on, and being in charge of HeadStuff.org.
