 This week it’s Aden Nofing

What is Instagram for you?
For me its sharing none political visual interests, whether its art work or just a picture of friends,   and giving some love and feedback to the people around the globe- bringing them sprits up in a ever intensifying world.
Why/when did you decide to start sharing your work on there?
I was late to the game when it comes to instagram. Was very sceptical of it at first, but like most things in life you get a feel for it. And I won’t lie, getting likes from other people and that can very addictive and gratifying.
How would you describe your style?
Style is a hard one to put a finger on. I put a lot of thought in to what I’m doing. But I’m not the best at explaining what I’m thinking. I’m most definitely a visual person. I guess I focus on contrast and compassion – mainly work with black and white – hopefully my pictures speak for themselves.
What equipment do you use?
Always have my Olympus OM-1 by my side or in my hand. Infrared film is my mate. If they had it in stock in Gunns all the time it would be the only film I’d use.
Who has been or currently is an influence on you?
Apart from pretty much everyone that I follow or who follows me. There are so many talented people out there doing their thing and I love it. Expression is key. My main influence is a mixed bag for all them hipster ones that no one knows when u say them. For example, Forough Farrokhzad and Sion Sono. And of course my family – they the best.
What are your must-follow accounts on Instagram?
@faolancares  @darraghhubz -They pretty much got me in to film photography @dale_geraghty doing some entering stuff with ink and paper and  @warhol.sofi is ace with a camera always posting up ace work.
