This week our Instagram Pick of the Week is Rachel Wilson.
Why/when did you decide to start sharing your work on there?
I set up the account about a year ago, but only added artwork recently.
How would you describe your style?
It varies at times but I suppose for the most part illustrative although I do draw a lot of inspiration from classic Disney as well.
What equipment do you use?
Traditional painting and digital. At the moment just a bamboo tablet.
Who has been or currently is an influence on you?
I love the work of Nico Marlet, Amelie Flechais, and Scott Wills also Animation legends Milt Kahl and Chuck Jones.
What are your must-follow accounts on Instagram?
The first three mentioned along with Meg Park and EliOli. CDC challenge is also great for seeing how different artist approach each topic.
What’s the best hashtag going and why?
I actually don’t know of any decent tags!
