In the summer of 1968 the economically deprived area of Scotswood, a suburb of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, was horrified when the body of three year old Brian Howe was found dead on some local wasteland. Little did the community know the horrific truth that would emerge, changing the way children were viewed in the eyes of the criminal justice system forever. This is the story of Mary Bell: the 11 year old, child killer.
