The Poetry Police

The Poetry Police

The Poetry Police formed in June of 2015 in response to a number of poetry crimes committed in the Irish Poetry Community. With a culmination of over 50 years of life experience, infinite poetic depth, and 5 years stringent work infiltrating various poetry cliques via Twitter. Michael Naghten Shanks and Alvy Carragher seek to write, legislate and enforce (by whatever means necessary) a poetic code of conduct. They specialise in poetic paranoia, rhyming red herrings and various war crimes. You can follow their journey fighting crimes against poetry @MichaelNShanks and @ALVYCARRAGHER on twitter.
