Elizabeth McGeown is a performance poet based in Belfast and is twice-running All-Ulster/Northern Ireland Poetry Slam Champion, finalist in the 2016, '17 and '18 All-Ireland Slam and the 2017 Farrago UK Slam Championships. She was the 'sacrificial' poet at the final of the All Ireland Poetry Slam 2015, also serving on the judging panel. She was chosen by judges from Dublin: UNESCO City Of Literature to take part in the Lingo Festival Slam 2015, placing third in the same competition in 2016. Her festival performances include Body & Soul, Lingo, Sunflowerfest, Stendhal, C.S. Lewis Festival and the Edinburgh Fringe. At the Edinburgh Fringe Festival she is a regular 'Cast Member' for Other Voices Alternative Spoken Word Cabaret.
