Amy has a BA in English and Spanish and a Masters in Journalism. Her arts and travel writing has been published in The Irish Times, The Irish Mail on Sunday and Film Ireland. Her short screenplay Speak was shortlisted for the RTE Filmbase Award in 2016. In 2017, she received a bursary to the John Hewitt International Summer School and to Space to Write in Downhill, Northern Ireland in Feb, 2018. She runs a boutique adult arts education company in Dublin called www.actthemaggot.com and she travels regularly.
Her poetry, short and flash fiction has been published in Dodging The Rain, Poethead and Qutub Minar Review and has been longlisted for the Bray Literary Festival and Farnham Short Story UK.
