Episode #3 | Witches & Saints

In this episode myself and writer/witch enthusiast Sarah Griffin talk about the lack of understanding of female sexuality in the 16th & 17th centuries and how that led to witch hunting. We also discuss a woman whose role in the Catholic Church may have shielded her from persecution as she was able to spin what most would describe as “sexual release” into an act of piety and communion with God.
